welcome to cinephilosof: light,camera, action!
I was born at the turn of the millennium, growing up in a world of VHS tapes, DVDs, video rental stores, and the rapid evolution of the internet and streaming. Music shifted from CDs to MP3s, then to iPods, shaping the soundtrack of my childhood.
My imagination was shaped by the golden age of Cartoon Network, the charm of Nickelodeon and Disney Channel, and the timeless magic of Disney, Pixar, and DreamWorks. Beyond the screen, I was equally captivated by the words of Ruth Rocha, Ana Maria Machado, Lygia Bojunga, Monteiro Lobato, Maurício de Sousa, and Ziraldo—stories that fueled my love for storytelling in any form, across any genre, in any language. My curiosity had no off switch, fueled by encyclopedia collections, the restless thrill of exploring and uncovering something new.

In my household, music was more than sound—it was memory, a generational mixtape.
Today, screens have become our new form of literacy. Here, I peel back the layers of storytelling, dissecting pop culture in ways that spark connection—sometimes nostalgic, sometimes provocative, but always with the intent to explore how the stories we consume end up shaping us.
