I’m Sofia Ribeiro Willcox, a graduate with honours in Creative and Professional Writing and Film and Television Studies from the University of Wolverhampton. Born and raised in Niterói, Brazil, I now live in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Wherever I go, I carry the principles of intercultural communication with me — creativity, curiosity, contextualisation, community, cognition, culture, and consciousness — and I stay adaptable to new environments, colleagues, and creative challenges.

Since July 2021, I contributed actively to digital magazines and anthologies. Through these experiences, I’ve developed strong skills in meeting tight deadlines, research, proofreading, SEO, and time management.

As a digital native, I continually expand my skills through certified digital marketing courses. With a Film and Media degree grounding me in technique and screenwriting, I stay adaptable in a world where trends shift in seconds.

I have always been drawn to the idea of transforming silence into something, the silence of feelings, people, places, or moments into words that build meaningful connections to create sparks and plant a seed in the audience.
